Labour Day Weekend Welcome

Hi Neighbours!

Wishing you all a Happy Labour Day weekend. Growing up, Labour Day was always an important day at home, with my mom a High School teacher –  there was a new beginning each year. This year feels that way for all of us, as it will be the first normal beginning to the school year in two years. With the return of normalcy, the hard work to catch all our students up begins. It is in the spirit of wanting to be part of the solution that I launch my campaign for HWDSB Trustee for Wards 8 and 14 this Labour Day weekend. Throughout the next seven weeks I hope we can connect on what are the most important issues facing our School Board and work together to find meaningful solutions.

Whatever your plans are this Labour Day, whether they include the annual Labour Day Parade and Picnic, the Labour Day Classic between the Ticats and Argos, or just quality time with family and friends, I sincerely hope you have a great Labour Day.
